Dr. Gregory Ward is a fellowship-trained head and neck oncologic surgeon with over ten years of experience. He specializes in microvascular reconstructive surgical procedures to restore form and function to areas affected by cancer. Dr. Ward treats cancers of the throat and oral cavity, salivary gland, and skin, and uses the latest surgical techniques, including laser and robotic approaches. 

Committed to treating his patients with respect and honesty, Dr. Ward focuses on their individual needs, not just their diagnosis. Additionally, his goal is to provide his patients with the information they will need to decide what treatment options will work best for them.

Dr. Ward works collaboratively with the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute (NHCI) Head & Neck Program’s multidisciplinary team to provide patients with the most up-to-date treatment options available. As part of the NHCI network, patients have access to groundbreaking clinical trials and a multitude of cancer support services.

In his free time, Dr. Ward enjoys spending time with his wife and six children, as well as cooking, hiking and eating a lot of dark chocolate.
